CREAMSICLE OF THE CROP

posted by Elshane on Jul 15 2014, under Fashion

It's Halloween everyday in Elshane's World! Like a pair of retro sunnies to shade your eyes from an afternoon of champagne and a last minute cheeseburger, a fresh lewk should tell the story of your day ahead. Maybe I'm the only Upper East Side chick to throw a crop top on a "ladies who lunch" menu, but might I remind you, if I can do it at the Vatican, I can do it anywhere...

On this gloomy afternoon in New York, I slipped into the Metropolitan Museum of Art to catch the highly anticipated...

SILHOUETTE SHE

posted by Elshane on Sep 22 2014, under Fashion

Into skin. Into showing skin.

Into showing skin during all seasons in fresh silhouettes.

Like this off the shoulder Lolita moment... she's daring and refined, and quite "buttoned up" one would say with the help of her classic tube skirt.

She's the perfect answer to a cocktail party, extravagant dinner party, or second date. She is, however, missing one crucial accessory:

posted by Elshane on Nov 17 2014, under Fashion

Always play the part...just never follow the rules!

Now those gritty streets of Hollywood… that’s really where I feel most at home. As a native New Yorker, there’s something about the smell of the concrete that puts a little hop in my {Alaia boots} step.  No one can navigate past a lagging crew of tourists or a pack of homeless youth better than this city chick. Foot traffic is my street traffic.

To play the part of city girl in this green, green world... {continue reading after the jump}

SINGING IN THE RAIN

posted by Elshane on Mar 11 2015, under Fashion

It wasn't supposed to rain today.

My day off plan was as follows: Chow deep into Soho House West Hollywood's Sunday Brunch Buffet (if you don't know...now you know {wowzas}) and then hit the Melrose Flea Market to walk off the five towering plates of brunch heaven.

Brunch, check. Flea market in the rain? Not so popular.

So instead, in my perfectly near-spring lewk, we twirled like Mary Poppins and did our Sunday's Best...
